Executive MBA programs are very different from traditional full time MBA programs and professional MBA programs. Since students have already reached some level of success in their career field, the programs are tailored to provide a business school program that is tailored to a student already in the executive ranks.
Although most MBA programs have the benefit of networking with fellow students, this benefit is magnified in the executive MBA program since students have already reached the executive level. So, although executive MBA programs are difficult to be admitted to, they not only provide an executive level education, but executive level networking opportunities.
